Having started his scientific activity in 1987 at the All-Union Research Institute of Grain Farming, laboratory of spring durum wheat breeding as an agronomist. You have passed all the steps to the head of the wheat breeding department.
Having a tendency to scientific research, in 2006, you successfully defended your PhD thesis on the topic: «Breeding of spring soft wheat in the arid steppe of Northern Kazakhstan» in the specialty 06.01.05 «Breeding and seed production», which was defended at the dissertation Council at the Research Institute of the South-East, Saratov, Russia.
With your direct participation, scientific research is being conducted to create competitive wheat varieties that consistently form high yields and grain quality, resistant to adverse environmental factors for the conditions of Northern Kazakhstan.
You are constantly improving your professional level, these are internships at the ICARDA International Center (Syria), the CIMMYT International Center (Mexico), the Research Institute of the South-East, the Institute of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences named after V.Y. Yuriev of Ukraine, the Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy, the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, scientific institutions In Kazakhstan, you take an active part in international conferences.
High scientific potential, efficiency, responsibility, professionalism and dedication have helped you solve your scientific tasks clearly and at a high level.
The recognition of your fruitful achievements in the work is the authorship of 15 varieties of spring soft wheat, patents for wheat varieties Shortandinskaya 95 improved, Shortandinskaya 2007, Akmolinskaya niva, Tselinnaya 50, Asyl Sapa, Tauelsizdik 20, Shortandinskaya 2012, Shortandinskaya 2014, Taimas. More than 100 publications have been published in Kazakhstani and foreign scientific publications, including 14 articles in the Scopus database, the Hirsch index is 5.
Your fruitful scientific activity has been awarded the State Award «Yeren yenbegi ushin» to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, letters of thanks from line ministries and departments.
